Bastia to Ajaccio Railway

I read a few weeks ago on this site that much of the railway is closed until further notice. I hope to travel this route on 24th June. Does anyone have information about the re-opening, or which parts will be open

According to www.corsicabus.org (the best place to find out about trains in Corsica believe it or not!):

%26quot;Continuation of work on the tracks means that there are no trains between Ajaccio and Casamozza (up to and including 18th June 2006). Bus services are arranged. Bus stops, marked %26quot;ARRET CFC%26quot;, are mostly on the main road. Transport of bicycles is not guaranteed though might be possible. Train services will be resumed from 19th June 2006 with a different timetable. %26quot;

So you should be OK, unless there are delays. Casamozza is between Bastia and Ponte Leccia. Good Luck!
