Hello everyone - we will be celebrating my husband%26#39;s birthday while in Paris, and although I%26#39;ve spent hours looking at restaurant reviews and menus, I still haven%26#39;t found what might be the perfect spot!
My husband and I are not terribly fussy (although he doesn%26#39;t like fish or mushrooms) but our 14 year old daughter will also be with us, and she is frustratingly fussy! But if there is steak on the menu , or even roast chicken, she%26#39;ll be ok.
We%26#39;ve rented an apartment on rue St. Martin, very near the Pompidou Centre. So far I%26#39;m considering Bofinger, Petit Bofinger, and Chez Omar. I%26#39;ve also consdiered Le Train Bleu, but it looks quite pricey. This might give you an indication of the price range I%26#39;m looking for.
So, any suggestions would be very much appreicated!

I should add that ideally I would like to find a place that is fun, or interesting, lively or a bit different in decor or ambience.
Also, we all speak a little, but not a lot, of French.
