Sorry in advance if this question has already been answered but I have searched previous post re buying carte orange. Plenty mention buying at Metro stations eg Opera but can I assume it can also be bought at CDG and used on the first journey on the RER B line from the airport into Paris? Thanks in advance

Yes, you can buy it at the RER ticket counter at CDG, in Terminal 2 (next to 2C and down one flight, I believe).

The only places that you can purchase a CARTE ORANGE transportation pass is at one of the two(2) RER train stations located within CDG airport---one located between CDG #1 %26amp; CDG #2 (usually accessed by free ADP shuttle bus)...and the other on the lower, RER level of the SNCF/TGV/RER train station, attached to CDG #2 (btwn. #2 C %26amp; D and E %26amp; F). In order to use the CARTE ORANGE pass for the RER %26#39;B%26#39; ligne--ROISSYRAIL--train or the ROISSYBUS bus transfer, you must purchase a CARTE ORANGE vaiid for Zones 1-5
