Has anybody stayed at %26quot;Un patio en Luberon%26quot; in Ansouis? Is it worthwhile staying in Ansouis for a night? Alternatively, we have the option of staying in %26quot;Auberge de Cargarille%26quot; just outside Gordes. Any recommendations?

maybe this is too late for you, but yes i have stayed there. it is really charming. rooms are clean and quite %26#39;boutiquey%26#39;, bathrooms v good quality, breakfast is v good and the owners are v friendly and helpful. they will also provide evening meal with notice.
its situated in the centre of this picture postcard Luberon village. (I have also been to Gordes and preferred Ansouis). Do the castle tour, its interesting and the views are great. You can read about Ansouis in the book %26#39;Magic of Provence%26#39;.
