Hotel near the Louvre

I have been to Paris a couple of times but this time my visit is just for the Louvre. Any suggestions of a 3star hotel close to there?

Hi Skyepaws, I%26#39;ll be staying at the Hotel Brighton in a couple weeks. It is within easy walking distance of the Louvre. We%26#39;ve never stayed there before but we chose it because of the good reviews and the closeness to the Louvre and the Seine. It might be worth a look for you.

The Brittanique is a lovely hotel near there.

Hotel Relais du Louvre is a nice three star hotel that%26#39;s practically next door. It%26#39;s on the Pont Neuf end of the Louvre in a great location, between the out-of-business La Samaritaine department store and the Louvre. We%26#39;ve stayed there many times and love the location. The Louvre is literally five minutes away.

If you stay at the Hotel Brighton ask book a %26quot; view %26quot; room. Totally worth it.

I agree with Aude. Relais du Louvre is in a great location, has wonderful responsive staff and except for single rooms, rooms of a nice size. It is also air conditioned should the weather be hot and humid. We leave for there in a week. Website is www.relaisdulouvre.com They are very good , if you see a room you like and it is available in letting you book it rather than just a general type of room. I really appreciate that. they respond quickly to e-mails. When i write early in A.M. Eastern daylight time-say 6:30, I generally ahve an answer by the afternoon or at latest by the next morning.
