jazz and restaurant

Has anybody tried Le Coupe Chou restaurant? Can anyone recommend a good jazz club for Monday 5 june, a place where you sit and listen, dark and smoky in the Coltrane/Davis mode please-- no dancing.

Perhaps the best bet for jazz clubs, within walking distance of Restaurant Le Coupe-Chou will be--

The nearest club to Le Coup Chou will ne Le Caveau de la Huchette...but the music here usually runs more to %26#39;..big band swing..%26#39; than %26#39;..jazz..%26#39;.

Your best bet will be to pick up a copy of PARISCOPE magazine at any news kiosk and check to see who%26#39;s playing what, where and when...while you%26#39;re there.

You can also do a simple SEARCH of this TA forum using %26#39;..Jazz Clubs..%26#39; as you basic search crtiteria for MORE information.
