We are going to be in Provence for the last two weeks of June and first week of July. We would like to rent bikes to tour the area on day trips. Does anyone have any recommendations on reasonable places to rent bikes and any thoughts on areas to bike in?

Where will you be staying? Provence is a very large region.

We are staying in Merindol, about 45 minutes from Aix en Provence. We weren%26#39;t sure if it was cheaper to buy a used bike over there or rent. Don%26#39;t know if you have any thoughts.

I did a search on Cavaillon and %26#39;location de vélos%26quot; and this site came up - I%26#39;m sure there are other bike hire shops, but at least it gives an idea of prices:
