2 girls looking for a hotel up to 200 Euro close to St...

Hi

Its our first trip to Paris, and looking for a hotel close to St Michel Notre Dame , we can afford 150-200 Euros per nite .

You don%26#39;t say when you%26#39;re going or how long you%26#39;re staying, but if it%26#39;s for a week, have you considered searching for an apartment rental? Hubby and I stayed in a comfy studio apt on St Severin, very easy walking to St Michel and Notre Dame and other points of interest.

Hi Jessita24,

I take it that you meant to put a comma between St. Michel and Notre Dame, and that you mean the Blvd St. Michel and Notre Dame de Paris? If so, I can recommend the Best Western Jardin du Cluny. It is well situated on a small side street within 5 minutes or so of both places. It is in the Latin Quarter. The hotel is quiet, clean, and I found the staff very friendly. You can check out the reviews on this website.

Bon voyage and bon chance!

Several years ago I had a good stay at the Hotel Royal St. Michel, right on the Place St. Michel and across the street from the Metro and RER stations. Very handy for getting around town, to and from the airport, etc. I don%26#39;t know what their current rates are, but expect you could get something for close to 200 euros.

Just a comment for KDKSAIL.

In e-mails, chat- or debateforums using CAPITAL LETTERS symbolizes that you are shouting at people. I am sure that you are unaware of this, but I notice that you use capital letters a lot. It makes me as a reader feel that you think that I am a little deaf and need a hearing-aid to get your message.

No need to shout - you have so much information to share that we all devour it eagerly anyway !

I like the Hotel St. Paul - St. Germain. we had a superior double for €143/night. It%26#39;s about a 20 minute (leisurely) stroll to ND and about 3 blocks from Bl. St Michel.

Gitte...I%26#39;m sure KDK can answer for himself, however, I don%26#39;t think he was shouting...he was merely trying to make the names of the places he was referencing stand out in a lengthy and informed filled post to make it easier to assess the information.

I highly recommend the Hotel Parc Saint Severin. It%26#39;s so close to Place St. Michel and Notre Dame, and yet it is remarkably quiet and serene. The hotel is lovely. Try to get one of the rooms with a terrasse if you can...

I agree with Misstriptx. A few capital letters used only to make hotel names stand out is anything but internet %26quot;shouting%26quot;.

And I%26#39;ll say this: I get tired of internet scolds like GitteK trying to tell other people how to use the internet. Grab a clue, por favor.
