Itinerary Urgent please

Hi allMe and my wife are going to a paris trip on Jun the 11 till the 17th.

My wife has brain cancer and i%26#39;m afraid it cam be to much for her.

I would like to have some advises where to go wthout long walks

Urhent please

First, one of the Cityrama (or other) bus tours would be easy...just sit and look as the bus goes through the streets of Paris.

If your wife is interested in art, you can get wheelchairs at the Louvre and the Musée d%26#39;Orsay; they can also be rented at pharmacies.

For getting from place to place, taxis would be best; you%26#39;ll find them at stands all over the city (they do not pick up passengers on the street).

There are many pleasant café to sit and have something to drink while watching the passing people--very relaxing.

You can take car tours. Something else to do that is very, very nice is to take a cruise on one of the several lines that go up and down the Seine; the ones at night are particularly good, as buildings along the river are illuminated. It%26#39;s possible to take a dinner cruise, although they are expensive and the quality of the food is not terrific.

I hope you and your wife have a very good time.

I wish Your Wife Great Health and Spirits. While in Italy this past Year, We hired a Tour Guide to take us around to all the Major sites. We Were picked up at our Hotel at appointed time and taken to where ever we Chose. It was approx. 30E an Hour, but well worth it. I%26#39;m sure someone on this Fourm could give You a Company and Better advise. I hope You all have a Trip of a Lifetime.

God Bless Theresa from Detroit.

First , I am sorry about your wifes illness.

You can make this a wonderful time for her though, as previous poster said, bus tours are relaxing, and the boat tours are especially nice , you can even do a dinner cruise

Good luck, and hopefully this will be just the lift your wife will need at this time.

We liked to sit in the Luxembourg garden (or other hidden gardens) and read. I imagine she might enjoy just enjoying the view if she does not feel up to reading while there! We also enjoyed sitting by the Seine and reading (okay, we are readers) ...or we also would have picnics at these sorts of places (we found an outdoor market and would grab what we needed for sandwiches, and wine at picnics is common too!). Another lovely idea might be just sitting at the outdoor cafes and having leisurely time over coffee or what not! These were actually some of our favorite moments. Hope you have a lovely time! It is beautiful there! (oh, do go on the bateaux mouche (boat tour) for a leisurely view of the city from the Sienne! If the evening is warm enough, it is best to go in the evening)

Oh, sorry. Just thought of other things. We also attended an opera (Platee) (was a delight...at the Opera Garnier). If your wife is up to that and enjoys operas, that is a thought. Easy enough to order ahead for tickets online. We also attended a play at the Comedie Francais (of course, if you don%26#39;t understand French, it is wise to read the play script ahead of time..it will delight you..at least we enjoyed it very much!)(saw a Moliere play). Again, that depends on if your wife is up to it and/or enjoys such diversions!
