Over the past year there has been a lot of discussion
on the forum about storing digital images while traveling.
The following have been considered:
1. Bring along a laptop and download to it.
2. Have CD%26#39;s burned
3. Use a device like a Epson Pocket Size
Hand Held Storage Vault to download
and store your images until you get
home to your computer.
4. When I travel I usually bring a number
of 512 and 1GB CF cards. The length of
my travels and the type of subjects I will
be photographing determine how many cards.
Today I learned of a new product made for those
traveling with memory cards - any type.
Sold by digitalfoci.com, it is made of hard
ruibber covered with aluminium and holds
8 cards. Mine came to $26.55 w/tax %26amp; shipping.
Always happy to answer your photography questions,
just post.

The memory card storage case is certainly practical....but what fascinated me is the stand-alone IMAGE MOMENTS display frame. I guess we%26#39;re coming closer every day to the %26#39;..brave new world..%26#39; where the %26#39;..art..%26#39; hanging on our walls changes either on command or as a %26#39;slide show%26#39;.
