pls help! we%26#39;ve booked Le Grand Intercontinental, an executive room, for 2 nights in Paris (our first 2 nights in Paris). We are travelling from the Dominican Republic, and for 2 nights we would like to have a wonderful hotel in Paris. Is this hotel ok? the area, the rooms, are nice?Is good for only 2 days in Paris to stay here?
thank you in advance

If the Grand Intercontinental is the one near Place Vendôme, it is a really good choice (as far as you can assume the price of the room). It is located in central Paris, near Place Vendôme, the Louvre, the Ile de la Cité, etc... I think you%26#39;ll have the best time staying at that hotel, which is one of the most luxuous of Paris.

It is situated on Rue Scribe.
I don%26#39;t know if is near Place Vendome, I know is near the Opera.
Is a good choice?
And yes, the rooms are very expensive, but for our first time in Paris....
thank you

Le GRand is a nice 4star hotel . As I ve stayed opposite at the Hotel Scribe, i cant comment on the rooms, but i have dined at the Cafe De La PAix and service was slow and kind of snobbish. The location is very convenient right by the Opera House, and a few blocks from MAdeleine, Les Grands MAgasins and Place Vendome. The Opera metro and RER hub is also a minute away. Have a nice stay in Paris.

We stayed at the Legrand a little over a year ago and it was great. We had a junior suite which was very spacious. The Legrand is very centrally located with a metro just around the corner. We ate at the Cafe La Paix once and it was just fine. Crowded and expensive but wasn%26#39;t a bit snobbish when we were there. You can take the Roissy bus from CDG that stops in the next block from the Legrand.
