Paris hotels - modern/contemporary

My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon in Paris. We stayed at the K%26amp;K Cayre last time and loved it but would like to stay in a more centralized location this time. We would also like to stay somewhere that has rooms with modern or contemporary decor. Any suggestions?

There aren%26#39;t many design hotels in a position closer to the city center than Cayre(although K %26amp; K isnt considered a design hotel).

Here are some suggestions:

Renaissance Paris Vendome

Hotel Bel Ami

La Villa Saint Germain

Murano Urban Resort

Hotel Bourg Tibourg

Hotel du Petit Moulin

Montalembert

Artus Hotel

HAve a nice trip!

There is also la Villa on rue Jacob which is very central. Bel Ami is great. Hotel du Petit Moulin is lovely but not central.

I don%26#39;t know what your price range is but most of the (very nice) hotels suggested are quite expensive from my point of view. For a budget option in a modern hotel in the Oberkampf area - lots of good nightlife - you could consider the Hotel Beaumarchais

Try the Hotel 123, http://www.paris-le123.com a really nice 4 stars hotel with really modern decoration. It is centrally located from steps to the Champs Elysees Avenue. It is a really nice and confortable hotel. It is situated in tha famous rue du Faubourg Saint Honore. The staff is really nice. There are Metro station, bus station nearby the hotel.

Enjoy Paris

La Villa Saint Germain is indeed La Villa on rue Jacob in Saint Germain Des Pres.

Another mild contemporary choice is Sofitel Le Faubourg and if you are going to Paris from September Hotel Scribe(which will be completely renovated by then).

Thank you all for your suggestions, especially for the website. I spent hours last night looking up different hotels and the Hyatt Vendome and Radisson SAS are the top picks thus far. I will check out the hotels you suggested that I have not yet reviewed. Merci beaucoup!

Hi Greece Forever, I see that you are in Athens. We are also going to Santorini for a few days before we arrive in Paris. We are flying into Athens for our connecting flight to Thira. We were thinking about sightseeing in Athens for a few hours before we left Greece. Logistically, is this possible if we have approximately 4-5 hours between arriving in Athens and departing for Paris? Is there a place for us to stow our luggage at the airport while we explore Athens? Thanks in advance for your input!
