Provide Legal name and address for BluVan Paris

Can any of our Paris Experts provide me with the correct and legal name that Bluvan does business under and also their address? They have not responded to any of my emails... I have only ask that they contact me to offer their reasons for taking my money but not providing the ride to the airport...

I am concerned that they operate under other names and that Bluvan is only a name used to communicate with tourist from the USA... The name on the side of their van is Airport Shuttle... Personnel at CDG stated that they are not known in Paris as Bluvan.... Their address that I have found is not in Paris itself.... I have found 4 names listed for the company that uses the name Bluvan...

Any help would be greatly appreciated... I only wish to talk with them... Thanks

Traveler,

They sent me this email after I %26quot;registered%26quot; with them. PARIS BLUE AIRPORT SHUTTLE thanks you for your subscription and wish you a pleasant trip.

I was trying to set up an airport pick up. Once I got to the point of giving them my credit card # I hesitated and did not enter it. I think they were charging 14,5 E/person. Are you saying you did not get a ride?

I hesitated and set up a ride with:

They are recommended in Rick Steve%26#39;s book as having a %26quot;reduced fare%26quot; for readers of his book. How you get the reduced fare I do not know. They have also sent me an email as to what my credit card # is, I%26#39;m wondering if I should just take the bus and wander around Paris all night with my luggage.

What%26#39;s up with these van services? We use Super Shuttle here in the States and I have heard they are now all subcontracted out.

May this umpteenth mishap with airport shuttles convince American tourists that airport shuttles are fine in North America where airports are deprived of public transportation and cities are spread out, but unfit to compact European capitals with a dense public transportation network, including a link to the airport. Cultural imports do not always work.

Thanks for the reply.... I pre paid Bluvan and they were over one hour late to pick us up at the airport and then came a day early for the return trip to CDG... We discussed this in detail with them in Paris and even provided them the actual paper work of their regristration form with all details.. They then called late on the morning of the pickup and said they would be late... one minute later the driver called and said he would be 45 minutes later.. We then called the office and the manager was very aloof and unconcerned that we would miss our flight home .. I ask that the be there within 5 minutes or I would have no choice but to take a cab.. He hung up... I took a cab... It cost us 54 euros for the cab... So, bluvan got paid up front and did not provide the service... Do not pay bluvan in advance! Recommend you consider the Air France Bus and then take a taxi from their stop to your hotel... Search Bluvan here on TA... Good luck...

Agreed -- do not pay in advance. We booked and prepaid a roundtrip shuttle, but then cancelled the return trip to the airport more than 48 hours in advance. Rather than crediting the 29 euros to my credit card, they tried to put it on their %26quot;E-Card%26quot; account, which is useless to me, as I have no plans to be back in Paris in the near future. I have emailed them four times asking for the credit to be moved to my card, but have heard no response. I even phoned them (using some leftover minutes on my int%26#39;l phone card) -- first they promised to check it out and call me back immediately; next they pretended they couldn%26#39;t find my account information and asked for me to email the reservation information to them. I did, but they ignored that email, too. All in all ... just not worth the hassle. Taking the Air France bus or the train would have been less of a headache, even with having to haul luggage around!

I have not yet received my refund although they, blue van, have agreed to the refund.... The credit card company is now handling the refund.... I agree that the experience we had with this van service, blue van, airport shuttle, I can not recommend them when air france bus or the train would work fine for me and then a cab to the hotel maybe... When I receive my refund I will explain the time factors and the difficults in detail... Paris is great and the transportation systems including bus and metro are very good except for the many steps up and down at several metro stations...
