someone please remind me, how does one say %26quot;pi$$ off%26quot; to someone that is annoying you, either by pestering you to buy something or chatting you up without getting the hint you%26#39;d rather be alone? I seem to remember a phrase something like %26quot;vas t%26#39;en%26quot; but I don%26#39;t know if I remember it or I%26#39;m making it up. Any other similar phrases would be welcome too. Thanks. :)

vas t%26#39;en, degage (go away), va voir ailleurs si j%26#39;y suis (go and check somewhere else if i am there), circule virgule (haha no its a joke a friend of my mom says that), tire toi etc etc
|||
Vas t%26#39;en is not wrong. Some alternatives (though very unfriendly, rude and impolite) are:
Casse-toi
Tire-toi
Fiche-moi la paix
or even more rude and unfriendly:
Va te faire foutre
Va te faire enculer
However, I think in most cases a simple %26quot;non%26quot; or %26quot;Laissez-moi tranquille%26quot; (leave me in peace) is more appropriate...

thanks guys. I usually start with a %26quot;merci, mais non%26quot; (lest you think I%26#39;m a gutter mouth :P ) then a more forceful %26quot;NON%26quot; but I couldn%26#39;t for the life of me remember the more %26quot;direct%26quot; phrases.
|||
Non merci or allez-vous-en are more than enough, but i think the best is to ignore them. Don%26#39;t use any of the ruder ones in the earlier post, you don%26#39;t know how the person would react if you are rude to them, they may get angry at you, which is worse...
|||
Ironically, my husband finds it most effective to just say %26quot;pi$$ off.%26quot; The English seems to throw the pest for a curve and they get the hint.
|||
Any language would probably suffice. The nudnik would surely get the hint.
|||
If you are telling somebody to %26quot;pi$$ off%26quot; I hardly think the use of %26quot;tu%26quot; is appropriate!!
|||
oh I doubt I%26#39;d actually use any of them... much too shy. I just couldn%26#39;t remember them and it was driving me nuts. I guess I should have said it was a hypothetical :)
