we are going to provence in september. the first nite will be near the nice airport . then off to bonnieux for 5 days exploring that area with a car. i will then look for a 3 day base in a town like vence before flying back from nice. any comments would be appreciated.

Bonnieux is in a good location. With roads branching out in different directions, you can loop around without having to go back an forth on the same one. We%26#39;ve enjoyed our stays there at the Bastide de Capelongue.
By the way, St Paul de Vence is about 25 minutes away from the Nice Airport. We can recommend the St Paul.
September is a great time to go...have a good trip!
