Hello,
I%26#39;d dearly love to visit Corsica-never been but it looks gorgeous.
We%26#39;d like to go next year with your 4yr old son and would appreciate any advice on where is most family-friendly.
We are looking for a beach holiday and would appreciate any advice.
Many thanks

I%26#39;ve never been to Corsica with a four-year-old, but I am sure you would find the Balagne area (north west - around Calvi %26amp; Ile Rousse) to your taste. You could enjoy the beach and the views of the mountains, plus some great evening meals, while your offspring enjoys paddling and making sandcastles. There%26#39;s a little beach train connecting all the beaches in the region which your child would love.
You could go for an all-in package with Corsican Places, Simply Travel or Simpsons, or you could get your own flight (direct flights from the UK to all of Corsica%26#39;s four international airports these days) and find your own hotel or self catering accommodation on the internet. Are you going for a hotel holiday or would you prefer self-catering? This place has plenty to choose whichever way you choose. Hope you all enjoy it.

Thanks very much for this, much appreciated.
I%26#39;ve looked into lle Rousse and really like the sound of it - could you recommend any b%26amp;bs or self catering properties?
Thanks again

Yes, Ile Rousse is lovely. There%26#39;s a local agency there called Kallisté Holidays (www.kallisteholidays.com) run by a very nice French lady with perfect English and an English husband. You could try them - I think they have quite a large range of self-catering stuff to let out in the region. You could also try Direct Corsica.
