Hi...It was relatively easy to find a great fare from JFK to Geneva, but now I%26#39;m having serious difficulty navigating the various websites to figure out how to train it from Geneve to Nimes.
Can someone please send me a good link, make any recommendations? Will this be an endless train trip? How can I find a map with express stops, local stops, etc?

There are a very few direct TGVs on this rioute. If one of them fits your schedule, the trip should take less than 4 hours. Otherwise you%26#39;ll have to go to Lyon and change there. In that case 4.5 hours should cover it, but I don%26#39;t think trains are all that frequent.
Go to
www.voyages-sncf.com
to research timetables and book tickets. Read this post, if you haven%26#39;t already, to get a good idea of how to use the SNCF online ordering system as it is not always user-friendly.

Wilko -
Why Genève to Avignon???
There are direct Genève to Nîmes trains, though not many, and plenty of choices to Nîmes with a change at either Lyon or Valence.

Can either of you suggest a map that would show the stops along the way between Geneva %26amp; Avignon? Thanks.

I don%26#39;t know whether there is such a map (it would appear rather useless to me) but if you look for your schedule on www.sbb.ch, once you have got the schedule you can click on the train number to see all the intermediate stops and timings.

altamiro -- THANK YOU. That is exactly what I wanted, namely stations and times. That%26#39;s a great website.
