Running in Bordeaux

Can anyone advise me on a good running route in/around the city. I run 15-20km each morning and am looking for a loop or out/back about this length. Is running along the Garonne an option?

Bordeaux is a good town (and area) for running since it%26#39;s pretty flat throughout. In the city itself, an itinerary along the Garonne would be ideal since it is equipped with cycling/running paths that could lead you north just out of the city to the floral gardens and the lake district; or you could go along the waterfront to the Pont de Pierre and take that across the river to the city limits at the end of the Avenue Thiers. On the other side of the river are a lot of good quiet areas such as the newly plated botanical gardens and a host of others that are not yet redeveloped.

Thank-you.
