Your best bet for meals on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day might be hotel restaurants; ask the concierge at your hotel for recommendations in your area. Some non-hotel restaurants will offer special meals, with advance reservations required.

Christmas in Paris is magical: two of the large department stores on the Right Bank (Galeries Lafayette, Au Printemps) have fabulous windows, there are decorations along the Champs-Elysées and in many other areas, and the Place Vendôme itself usually has a huge tree made up of real greens on wooden frames. Just walking around and looking at the decorations is great fun. Windows of shops that sell food products are usually done to the nines with holiday specialties.

You can go ice-skating near the Hôtel de Ville and perhaps at the Eiffel Tower.
