Hello, I am planning to take my wife on a 3-4 day trip to paris in July, was wondering if people had an opinion on
1 The best way to travel from london to paris. ( Bus, Train ,or Plane)
Also was looking to go on the 14th , which is bastille day, Does anybody reccomend going on or near this date.
Thanks

Bastille day is good for the parade and the fabulous fireworks. A bonus.
For such a short trip, I would not go to London at all.
If you must, take the Eurostar (fast train)

Forget the bus option - you would have to allow best part of a day: 2 hours from London to Dover, another 2 (allowing for check in) for the ferry and then about 3 from Calais to Paris.
The flight is only an hour, but you will have to get to the airport, hang around, and transfer from CDG or Orly into the city - I%26#39;ve never managed less than 4 hours travelling this way. (I can%26#39;t just turn up at the airport and walk onto the plane - I always allow too much time)
Eurostar departs from Waterloo station and will take you to Gare du Nord in under 3 hours. I think this is your best option.
www.eurostar.com is the link.
