We want to stay at the airport our last night -- returning from Dordogne -- flying out the next morning -- we have stayed at novatel before -- liked convenience of RER into town for evening, but being at airport in the morning.
We are looking at Hilton -- anyone use them -- what do you think?
We don%26#39;t want to be a few K away -- but on site and able to use the internal CDG shuttles in the morning to get to Terminal 2

We decided to stay at the Sheraton because it%26#39;s connected to Terminal 2. Check discount sites for good rates, although it%26#39;s still pricey--but for us the convenience is worth it.
Last time we stayed at the Hilton and got an upgrade to an executive room. The hotel is okay, typical Hilton, but the restaurant choices weren%26#39;t much and the food extremely overpriced.

I stayed there about 3 years ago, they upgraded me to a j. suite , very spacious with humangous bathroom for France standards. At that time the breakfast buffet was included with the rate. Convenient shuttle to airport terminals and the RER station is just behind the hotel.

The Sheraton restaurant is also pricey but the food was wonderful, I thought. I%26#39;m sure this is true about the Hilton also but the Sheraton seemed wonderfully quiet to me. Also, very very close to the RER station - just downstairs from the Sheraton - which made it easy to get in and out of Paris on our last night in Paris.

I%26#39;m glad to hear that the restaurant is good--we might just have dinner there after a brief trip into Paris.

I%26#39;d stay at the Hilton. Stayed there last Oct. Loved it. Beautiful rooms, great staff and practically on the runway of CDG. I%26#39;m staying there again in June - great for one night either your first night after a long flight or last night so you%26#39;re close to the airport next morning. Have a great trip!

We stayed at the Hilton last time around and didn%26#39;t much care for the ambience, although the room was comfortable. So this time we%26#39;re going to try a different hotel.

just got back last night -- did stay at the Hilton and hated it with a burning passion
the room was okay -- nothing special but okay
the restaurant was AWFUL -- and hideously expensive -- only bad meal we have ever had in France -- and they were rude as well
will NEVER ever book this place again --
normally we would head for Paris for dinner but we got in very late because we stopped with friends for lunch between our rental in the Dordogne and Paris -- too tired to get on the RER at that point and so settled on the Hilton food offerings -- just AWFUL, rude rude rude, and very expensive AWFUL

We finally booked at the Hilton--got a rate of 208 Euros for the club floor, with breakfast.
Thanks for posting about the restaurant; we were wondering whether to give it a try. So we%26#39;ll head into Paris for dinner at our favorite restaurant. But no! It%26#39;s closed on Monday. So now I%26#39;ll have to find another place that will be open.
