Disneyland Paris & Travel to Marriott's Village...

We are thinking of staying at Marriott%26#39;s Village d%26#39;ile-de-France as part of our visit to Disneyland Paris. We will be flying into CDG and I don%26#39;t want to hire a car. Is it necessary to hire a car to 1) get to and from the airport to the Marriott and 2) to get to and from the Marriott to Disneyland?

i have read the marriott is only a mile away and notwithstanding it doesn%26#39;t have a restaurant its okay.

Any comments on travel and or the Marriott would be welcome

i did stay at the same place last year. I took a taxi from CDG and cost me around 60 Euros. In order to get from the hotel to Disneyland you have to take a taxi which is less than 10 Euros. There is the train station where you can take the train to Paris.right there. I did not rent a car and never had any problem. When you take the train there you get off in the second stop and will find a huge supermarket just to walk there is fun. I do not remember the name of the stop but you can ask in the hotel. The people are really nice. Have fun

thanks, it doesn%26#39;t sound as if there are any issues for transport, glad to hear there is a supermarket nearby - I%26#39;d heard there were very few shopping facilities at or near the site

As soon as you get off the train station you walk to the right and there is a shoping mall, the supermarket is inside it.
