I%26#39;m not sure whether it is easy to find anything for rent for such a short period. But (some) hotels may be willing to lower their rates a bit if you mention that you will stay two weeks. Worth a try!

For 2 weeks, I would rent a flat for sure. There are plenty that rent for a minimum of a week. My favorites have been through perfectlyparis.com, but if you want a larger selection over a greater area, look at vrbo.com. You are sure to find something to suit your taste and budget.

I%26#39;d rent a flat- there are great ones all over the city- and it will probably end up being a lot cheaper because you%26#39;ll have a kitchen (eating out for two weeks in Paris is wicked expensive).

We rented an apt. and enjoyed the experience very much, but it may be a little too short notice for most of them - they tend to start filling up pretty far in advance. We got ours through vrbo.com and talked with owner in New York, so was easy to get the details, etc. And being the owner, he was willing to waive the deposit, which an agency won%26#39;t be able to do.
Have a great trip!

I can%26#39;t agree with the %26quot;a lot cheaper%26quot; comment, when I see weekly rates of about 650-750 euro. There are lots of hotels in the 40-100 euro per night category.
What you spend on eating is your own choice. I find that you can eat good and for a reasonable price almost everywhere at lunchtime, and just have a baguette or something like that at night.

Hi Hi!!
I%26#39;ll be in France in July too! Will spend 8 days in paris and have already rented an apartment.
The Euros are getting stronger and stronger :-( , renting an apartment is a cheaper choice but yet offers more comfort at the same time:- very %26quot;french%26quot; , can cook your own meals (esp breakfast, I found most hotels offer breakfast at a very expensive price), more space!
Try searching this forum with %26quot;apartment%26quot; and you%26#39;ll come up with lots of great recommendations!

Try the following site. These people are good. We recently rented from them for just 3 days in Paris and found the apartment to be quite good.
