YEAH, Finally might make it to Paris this year!!! I have decided I would really enjoy the Rue Cler area but the hotels I checked were full the week I need, which is a month and a half away! Any ideas for another one to check out? We are a couple with a 7 yr. old daughter, and would like A/C . The 2 hotels I checked out were Opera Cadet and Hotel Leveque. Thanks for your help!

Have you considered the Hotel Relais Bosquet? I haven%26#39;t stayed there myself, but it%26#39;s near Rue Cler and gets great recommendations (and has air conditioning).

We stayed at Hotel Muguet last year, and it seems ideal for what you%26#39;re seeking. It has received consistently strong reviews (by us, as well as others!), and the a/c came in handy in last year%26#39;s heat wave.
We have a soon-to-be 7-year-old daughter too, by the way, but she wasn%26#39;t along for the trip . . .
Muguet is very affordable, extremely clean, and a short (5 minute) walk to Rue Cler. You really can%26#39;t miss with this one.

I would rent Opera Cadet over Hotel Leveque. It is not as close to Eiffel tower but it is more in %26quot;Paris central%26quot;.
Rue Cadet is also a market street and not as popular as rue Cler (yet?) but has all you need. Cheese, fruit, etc. , passages near by and Chartier for fun.

Try Hotel du Champ de Mars

I have stayed at the Relais Bosquet, just off the rue Cler, and recommend it. Some of the rooms have views of the Eiffel Tower. I wasn%26#39;t there in warm weather and am not sure it has A/C, so you should check.
I wasn%26#39;t able to stay at the Relais Bosquet for the entire length of that stay, so I moved to the nearby Hotel Beaugency for my last 2 nights. I do not recommend that hotel --uncomfortably small rooms.

KeoweeGal,
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Hotel Eiffel Park, which is a block from rue Cler off rue Grenelle. It is about two blocks from La Tour Maubourg metro station. The room we had was on the top floor and small, but they may have a larger room for your family.
It has A/C which worked well, until our remote stopped working. The hotel never fixed it, but it wasn%26#39;t really hot when we went at the end of May. The hotel also has an elevator which comes in handy after a full day of sightseeing.
It is very quiet and clean but it does lack ambiance. A good hotel in a great area.
