Hi
I guess you can buy a Carte Orange and use that for the rest of the week. It should cost you about 15 € and then you can take the metro as much as you want with zone 1 %26amp; 2 (which covers most of the tourist attractions in Paris). You can also pay more to get a Carte Orange that is valid for all zones and then you can also use it when taking the RER train to the airport. My wife and I went to Paris in April and I have just made a trip report. Get in touch on gardkarlsen@hotmail.com if you would like to check it out :-) Have a great trip to Paris :-)
Regards

Epinay is in zone 3 and CDG is zone 5, then the easiest way is to buy the 5,days Paris-Visite pass zones 1-5. This pass is valid from the airport to Epinay, and from Epinay to Paris.

We bought a carnet (10 ticket pack) each for getting around on the metro while we were there. It was fairly easy - just don%26#39;t mix up the used tickets with the new ones - the markings on the used ones are hard to notice. I wouldn%26#39;t throw mine away immediately because they say you can use the same ticket to go further on the line, or something to that effect, but I was never able to sort that out. The carnets lasted us through 7 days, though.
They are not good for the buses, though. I loved London where the oyster card was good for both, but not so in Paris. But still, got around just fine :)
Have a good trip!

The 5-Zone Carte Orange will be a better buy costwise for you than the Paris Visite pass or than any combination of 3-Zone passes and individual tickets for your trip from/to CDG. The pass will cover your trip from and to CDG as well as all your travel to and from central Paris and travel on the buses and métro within Paris from your arrival on Wednesday to your departure the following Sunday. It will even cover travel to Versailles and other places outside Paris proper should you be pplanning to go there.
The cost of the Carte Orange will be 30€90. The cost of the equivalent Paris Visite pass would be 45€75. You will need a small (approx 3 cm square) passport type photo, colour or B%26amp;W, for the Carte Orange.
If you have children between ages 4 and 11 travelling with you, you should get Paris Visite passes for them as there is a half price PV option, but no reduced price CO.
To get to your hotel take the RER (suburban light rail) Line B to the St-Michel/Notre Dame station. Change there to the RER Line C and take any train going to Argenteuil or Pontoise but NOT towards Versailles or St Quentin en Yvelines. The destination and intermediate stops of the trains are displayed on lighted panels above the platforms. Take an express train from CDG whose first stop will be Gare du Nord. The entire trip should take around 85-90 minutes.
To get to the center of Paris take any RER Line C train from Épinay-sur-Seine going in the opposite direction. If you return to St-Miche/Notre Dame you will be just about dead center in Paris, near Notre Dame cathedral. You can also change there to one of the 14 métro lines covering Paris proper. You can also change to other lines at Porte de Clichy and Porte Maillot, both closer to Épinay, and yet another at Invalides. Which one is best will depend on where you are going.
It might be helpful for you to read this lengthy post, even though much of it applies to people staying in Paris proper:
http://tinyurl.com/pz2re
It will explain how the RATP (Paris transport system) works and will give you links to the RATP site where you can download métro and RER maps. You should also ask for the free printed maps of the RER and métro systms when you get to the RER ticket cointer at CDG.
Ask again if there is anything not clear or if you have more questions.
Good luck!

If you plan to use the weekly CARTE ORANGE Zone 1-5 transportation pass, you MUST purchase it on your WEDNESDAY, July 12th day of arrival. If you wait to purchase it the following day it will NOT be available for sale for the remainder of that current week (Monday-thru-Sunday validity). And since the weekly CO expires at Last Train on Sunday, you will need to purchase other public transportation tickets for your return to CDG on Monday.
If it is your plan to use the RER %26#39;B%26#39;--ROISSYRAIL--train transfer into Paris (gare du Nord) from CDG and then onward tram to Epinay-sur- Seine, you might consider that since the CO will not be valid for your return to CDG on your Monday day-of-departure, purchasing a separate ROISSYRAIL tickets and a CARTE ORANGE pass valid for Zone 1-3---which will include all of your travel between Epinay-sur-Seine (out in Tansportastion Z one 3) and central Paris and all of your public transportation needs within Paris. The one way RER fare is 8€. The cost difference between a CO 1-3 and 1-5 is 10,10 €
