travel from CDG airport to apartment in first...

We will be arriving at noon Sunday July 16 at CDG airport. We are a family of five and we will have 4 suitcases and 5 pieces of carry-on. I have read that some shuttle services make you wait long hours before arriving. Require suggestions for airport shuttle and web sites to make booking.

megaj,

We used Parishuttle for our roundtrip transfers from CDG to our hotel in the Eiffel Tower area. It cost us 19 euros per person one-way (or 76 euros for two rountrip transfers). You may get a lower price per person since there are more people in your group.

I had waited until the last minute to reserve but they had my reservation when I arrived and our driver was waiting for us by the time we collected our bags and exited the terminal.

Try www.parishuttle.com. Would definitely use them again.

On both trips there were seven passengers, which was the most the vans would carry. The drivers were friendly and the vans clean.

Enjoy Paris!

You might save money by taking a taxi--just stand in line and wait for a van or a station wagon. The far into Paris will be about 60 Euros. You could also take the Air France bus into Paris, then a taxi to your hotel.

I second the taxi option: hands down the easiest, hassle-freest, cheapest option. Airport are a North American import not suited for European cities.

I meant %26quot;airport shuttles%26quot; of course (even though, come to think of it, airports are not very suited to our cities either! ).
