We are planning to go to Chamonix in early July. What hotel or chalet would you advise in order to be close to golf and hiking/walking paths. Also iif you know about Golf which course in Chamoniz is considered the best....... Thanks

Chamonix only has 1 golf course but it has a hotel on site. Not sure how good it is, it is called Le labrador.
About 200m away is the Eden this is small and it used to be one of the best. Failing those 2 try ww.chamonix.com for a comprehensive list.
